FED: Tensions between Qantas management, staff set to escalate
The dispute between Qantas management and maintenance employees looks set to escalatetoday after hundreds of workers were stood down without pay over the weekend.
There were no reports of such action at the 11 pm shift changeover last night, but28 workers from the sheet metal division were stood down for refusing to work overtimeafter 3 pm yesterday.
